The HUMANOIDS 2024 Organization Committee has thought about several initiatives to reduce the ecological impact of the conference and make it more sustainable:

NO PLASTIC SINGLE-USE BOTTLES FOR WATER: BRING YOUR OWN REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE

There are water fountains in the Centre Prouvé conference center. You do not need to purchase single-use plastic water bottles, you can refill your water bottle with the city water. Bring your own! The city water is safe and it’s very good!

NO SINGLE-USE PLASTIC IN CATERING

We are proud to announce that our catering company, Marco Tullio, does not use single-use plastic in their lunch boxes. Even cutlery is made of compostable corn!

ONE VEGAN LUNCH FOR EVERYONE

One lunch will be vegan for all the participants. We took extreme care in selecting a wonderful vegan lunch box full of exquisite food that will satisfy everyone!

TRAVEL BY TRAIN IF POSSIBLE

We are not expecting people from other continents to come by train, but we are encouraging people from Europe to use the fast train network (TGV in France) and come by train! You can check the travel tips page to get information on how to reach Nancy by train.
