Découvre ChatGPT avec NAO (18+ ans)

Le vendredi 22 novembre seulement, des tutoriels de robotique avancé sont organisés: nous utiliserons des Large Language Models (LLM) – avez-vous déjà entendu parler de ChatGPT ?- dans un robot humanoïde pour améliorer ses capacités d’interaction. Ce tutoriel est pour des étudiants / adultes qui ont des connaissances en programmation, Python, et sont curieux d’apprendre l’Intelligence Artificielle et les techniques d’apprentissage automatique.

Cette activité est promue et organisé par United Robotics Group. Ils démontreront comment intégrer les LLM dans NAO :
1) Transformer NAO en un chatbot scénarisé ;
2) Convertir NAO en un chatbot alimenté par des LLM (“Talk to ChatGPT”) ;
3) Améliorer les capacités de NAO au-delà de la parole : marcher, contrôler les articulations et jouer des animations ;
4) Augmenter les entrées de NAO au-delà des commandes verbales : temps, toucher, vision, détection d’objets…

Les cours sont en français. Le tutoriel suit un format “amène ton propre ordinateur”, c’est à dire que chaque participant arrive avec et utilise son propre ordinateur. La configuration demandé à l ordinateur sera communiqué prochainement. Les cours sont gratuits.

Pour effectuer le cours, les participants doivent se présenter à l’accueil du Centre Prouvé 15-20 minutes avant le cours, munis du ticket avec leur nom et prénom ou le e-mail de convocation, qui fait preuve d’inscription. Les groupes universitaires ou des Écoles peuvent avoir des organisations différentes. Les participants seront accompagnés à la classe par un membre de l’organisation de la conference, et ré-accompagnés à l’accueil à la fin du cours.

Discover ChatGPT with NAO (18+ years old)

On Friday the 22nd only, we will have an advanced robotics tutorial integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) – ever heard about ChatGPT? – with a humanoid robot to improve its interaction skills. This tutorial is for students / adults who have some background in programming, and Python, and are curious about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methods.

This activity is promoted and organized by United Robotics Group. They will demonstrate how to integrate LLMs into NAO:
1) Transform NAO into a scripted chatbot ;
2) Convert NAO into an LLM-powered chatbot (“Talk to ChatGPT”) ;
3) Enhance NAO’s capabilities beyond speech: walking, joint control, and playing animations;
4) Augment NAO’s inputs beyond verbal commands: time, touch, vision, object detection…

Classes are in French by default, but it’s possible to ask the class to be taught in English as well. Conference staff may assist with other languages, if possible. The class follows a “Bring Your Own Laptop” format, which means participants must bring their laptop to the tutorial. Required computer configurations will be communicated soon. The tutorial is free of charge.

To follow the class, participants must meet at the entrance hall of Centre Prouvé 15-20 minutes before the class, with their ticket with their name and surname or confirmation e-mail, proving their registration. Groups coming from Universities or Schools may have different arrangements. Participants will be brought to class by a member of the conference staff and then brought back to the entrance at the end of the class.
