Apprends la robotique avec le football (14+ ans)

Du vendredi 22 au dimanche 24, des tutoriels de football robotique de 3 heures sont organisés 2 fois par jour (à 10h et 14h).

Les tutoriels sont organisés par une équipe de chercheurs de l’Université de Bordeaux, en promotion de la Robocup Junior: Gregoire Passault and Charles-Adrien Vlamynck. Dans la Région Aquitaine, ils ont 20 champs de football (robotique), et 80 kits distribues aux écoles et associations de la Région de Bordeaux. Ils ont un grand programme de médiation pour promouvoir la robotique auprès des enfants dans les écoles. Chaque tutoriel dure 3 heures, et c’est pour un groupe de 24 personnes maximum. Les participants doivent avoir des bases de programmation et Python. Des ordinateurs avec l’environnement de programmation sont fournis.

Le tutoriel est en français.

Pour effectuer le tutoriel, les participants doivent se présenter à l’accueil du Centre Prouvé 15-20 minutes avant le cours, munis du ticket ou de la convocation par e-mail avec leur nom et prénom, qui fait preuve d’inscription. Un parent, gardian ou adulte responsable d’un participant mineur doit les accompagner à l’accueil, laisser son nom et telephone, pour récuperer le mineur à la fin du cours. Les groupes de classes peuvent avoir des organisations différentes. Les participants seront accompagnés en classe par un membre de l’organisation de la conference, et ré-accompagnés à l’accueil à la fin du cours.

Learn robotics with robot soccer (14+ years old)

From Friday 22 to Sunday 24 we will have 3-hours tutorials about robot soccer, twice per day at 10:00 and 14:00.

This activity is executed by the team of researchers of the University of Bordeaux promoting the Robocup junior: Gregoire Passault and Charles-Adrien Vlamynck.  In the Aquitaine region, they have 20 soccer fields, and 80 kits distributed to schools and associations in the surrounding area of Bordeaux. A huge outreach activity promoting robotics among children in schools. Each class lasts 3 hours, and it is for 24 people maximum. Participants must have a basic knowledge of programming and Python. Laptop computers with pre-installed programming environments are provided.

Classes are in French by default, but it’s also possible to ask the class to be taught in English. Conference staff may assist with other languages, if possible.

To follow the class, people must meet at the entrance hall of Centre Prouvé 15-20 minutes before the class, with their ticket or email receipt with their name and surname, proving their registration. A parent or guardian or adult responsible for an underage must give their name and telephone at the entrance, to take the underage back at the end of the class. School classes have separate arrangements. The participants will be brought to the class by a conference staff member and then returned to the entrance at the end of the class.
