coming soon

There are two types of presentations at Humanoids 2024: (1) Oral presentations and (2) Interactive presentations. Papers presented in both sessions are of equal technical quality and will appear in IEEE Xplore. The presentation type of your paper will be provided in PaperPlaza. Presenters in oral sessions can optionally, in addition to their oral presentation, present their work in the interactive sessions.

Instructions for Authors Presenting in Oral Sessions (Talks)

  • Oral Sessions will consist of live presentations by one of the paper’s authors, each of which is allocated a 15-minute slot. This includes 12 min for your presentation and 3 minutes for questions. Please do your best to not exceed these times.
  • There are many Oral Sessions in the Humanoids 2024 conference. You can find out in the detailed program on PaperPlaza which session your paper has been assigned to and what the presentation order in that session will be.
  • All oral sessions take place in the Amphitheater 450/850. Please note that some follow immediately after a Plenary presentation without any break in between.
  • Presentations can be prepared using your favorite style, but they must be in a 16:9 format, and include a logo of this year’s Humanoids conference on the title page (available for download on the webpage).
  • Presentations will be executed by the Amphitheater’s technical staff. Instructions for upload will follow (coming soon)

Instructions for Authors Presenting in Interactive Sessions (Posters)

  • Interactive Sessions will consist of presentations of paper posters during sessions of 60 minutes each.
  • There are four different Interactive Sessions in the Humanoids conference. In the Detailed Program on PaperPlaza, you can find out which Session your paper has been assigned to.
  • Posters should be prepared in Portrait format up to A0 size (118 cm x 89 cm).
  • Posters can be prepared using your favorite style and program. We only ask you to include a logo of this year’s Humanoids conference in the header of your poster (available for download on the webpage).
  • You will have to print out the posters and bring them with you; there is no printing facility on site.
  • You will be allocated a specific poster board in the poster hall for your session. Please put up your poster there before the start of the session and take it down afterward, since the space will be needed for a presenter in the next session. A volunteer staff will give you tape or velcro to fix your poster on the board.
  • There are unfortunately no tables in the poster area, so you should not plan to use a laptop next to your poster. Of course, you are free to bring any device/tablet that you can hold in your hand during the entire time of the session if you want to be able to show videos etc.
  • There are no teaser presentations. All presentations are announced in the program on Paper Plaza and in the summary with their respective digest slide.
